Remember when I needed that late night snack? You were there. And when I needed to add some crunch to my sandwiches? I knew where to find you. You were there for me when I needed you the most. You’re not just a potato, you’re a memory. Each crunchy bite is a reminder of how delicious I know you are. The love I have for you will never go away; it will only get stronger. You complete me. I’ll find you in the pantry later. Xoxo, your true love

The Love Letter
In first year Advertising and Marketing, we created love letters to our most desired and favourite brand. We wrote for a target audience to capture them into also loving our brand. For this assignment I chose my favourite snack, Miss Vickie's Chips.

The Travel Ad
Incorporating all of the elements that I've learned into this project, the travel ad was my favourite. Using Travel Manitoba as the inspiration for the assignment, I captured a classic fishing hotspot for this ad, using the idea of photography to tie everything together. (Ft. My brother)

The Explainer
A collaboration between writing and design. How does something work? The idea behind the explainer was for students to be able to describe the scientific process of something (I chose volcanoes) and then create a sidebar with related content. Writer's Craft meets Digital Media Design.
This was a light and fun assignment to create specific copy, and a related design.

The Mission Statements
Although my passions lie with the advertising and marketing world, a mission statement for PR may or may not come in handy one day, so it's a good thing I have some practice.
My Mission Statement My mission is to live a purposeful and exhilarating life while cultivating a well-balanced school and personal life. As a new, baby communicator, I believe it is my mission to use my creativity and curiosity to further myself in my personal and professional worlds. I accept a good challenge and aim to work through the problem the best way that I can. I strive to embrace and absorb environments that surround me to not only build my potential as an individual, but collectively with others as well. PR class Mission Statement In this PR class, we are dedicated to fostering positive relationships with both organizations and the public, aiming to create long lasting connections. From handling crises to orchestrating successful product launches, we are knowledgeable at problem solving and capable of organizing extravagant galas and fundraisers. While we appreciate the allure of a scandal, we ultimately aim for good and positive press. We won’t pass any judgement, but we will still decide whether or not your event is newsworthy and why people should care. We value a good laugh for its therapeutic benefits, yet nothing excites us more than a well-crafted, concise, news release. Much like our friends in the advertising world, we prioritize your needs and are committed to supporting you at every stage, after all, we have a passion for communication.
